Basic Life Support (BLS)

Who is this course for?

What will this course teach me?

The focus of the course teaches how to provide CPR for adults / infants / children, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

This course ultimately trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Who is this course for?

Healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.

What will this course teach me?

This teaches you the importance of team communication and systems for immediate post-cardiac arrest care.

Knowledge of managing airways, initiating IVs, reading ECGs, and understanding emergency pharmacology is required.

This course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR.

NARCAN: Opioid Overdose Prevention & Harm Reduction

Who is this course for?

Any community organization or social service agency that may work with individuals at risk of witnessing or experiencing an opioid overdose, including homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, food banks, etc.

What will this course teach me?

This course provides a basic understanding of the opioid epidemic, the symptoms of an opioid overdose, how to recognize and respond to someone who might have overdosed on opioids and care after an overdose.

In addition, this course discusses naloxone use with individuals at risk of experiencing or witnessing an opioid overdose.

What will this course teach me?

This course helps students like you to learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first aid emergencies in a classroom setting through an instructor-led and video-based learning setup.

Teaching students the critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes of an emergency until medical services help like (EMS) arrives.
